Hey friends, happy scripture sunday! I am feeling grateful and excited for what this year will bring. I hope that you had a lovely start to the year! I am feeling so grateful for the past couple of weeks that I got to spend with my friends. I thank God everyday for the people He has put in my life, and I pray that my friends know how much I appreciate them!

This week’s passage resonated with me for many reasons, but the most important of them being that I am so hopeful for what’s to come! I know that, like everyone, there will be many hard things that I have to go through along my journey, but I also know that I have gotten through many hard things ALREADY. So I am ready!

I am ready to keep moving forward! I start college next week and I am very excited! I am ready to take on more hard things. I am ready to live in the moment. I am ready to celebrate. I am ready for what God has in store for me.

Each day is different, with its own highs and lows, but I am having a good week and I wanted to take the time to celebrate moments like these and let you know that I am with you.

If you are going through a hard time, trust me, I have been there and I will be there again. But during the hard times, I pray that you have the courage to keep moving forward because the good times will come again and you will see that it was worth it. And throughout this journey, I pray that you have the courage to speak kindly to yourself.

Even though I’m not a pro-surfer (yet) I want to leave you with this: Life is like surfing in the ocean, you have to continue on through the highs and lows of life and enjoy the ride! Surfs up dude!
